CancerCare Cross Bay Challenge

CancerCare would like to express a huge thank you to everyone that participated in the Cross Bay Challenge 2008! Although Mother Nature may have won the day, over 550 people hit the bay on Sunday travelling across its wind swept sands. This year it wasn't just the distance that was challenging, but 30mph winds making the event harder than it has ever been in previous years. We hope that everyone will be back next year to finish their challenge on the 16th August 2009 and we are grateful for all the feedback that we are receiving which will ensure that next year is even bigger and better!

A special thank you to all of CancerCare's volunteers, as without their commitment and support the event would not have been possible.
